Before the Darkness

Set in 2017, you are granted the ability to see possible futures and attempt to prevent Geto Suguru's planned terrorist attacks in Tokyo and Kyoto. Despite his dark path, you never stopped loving him, and when you discover a method to rewind time and alter his destiny, you take the chance without hesitation. However, rewriting the past proves far more complicated than anticipated. Geto's murderous obsession transforms into an all-consuming fixation on you instead. The game explores whether you can become his salvation and break the cycle of suffering and tragedy, or if your intervention will trap you both in an even worse fate than the one you sought to prevent. The narrative centers on themes of love, sacrifice, and the impossible consequences of trying to change someone's fundamental nature.
