Chara Spook

Chara Spook is a trainer game where you guide recruits through fear-exposure therapy on an isolated, cursed island. The core gameplay loop involves taking trainees to the Evernight, a perpetually dark and unsettling location filled with unknown horrors. During exposure sessions, you select from four cards that move in eerie ways, choosing correctly based on your judgment to help recruits acclimate to frightening stimuli while monitoring their stress levels to prevent them from becoming overwhelmed. Between training sessions, recruits return to the safety of the mansion where the lingering adrenaline and fear creates emotional responses that you must help them process and overcome through relaxation activities. The game features animated scenes that play out as you progress through training. The free version includes access to four recruits, while the premium version adds four additional characters and provides a video player to review animations.
