Chosen

Chosen is a text-based roguelike that combines mechanics from Faster than Light, Corruption of Champions, and tabletop RPGs. You play as an outcast chosen by a mysterious being of light to end a supernatural blight consuming the world. The journey eastward toward the blight's demonic master takes you through procedurally generated maps filled with desperate humans and encounters with monsters of various kinds.

The game employs FTL-style roguelike progression with a procedural map system and permanent character death on defeat. Like Corruption of Champions, it is entirely text-based and set in a medieval fantasy setting. Combat uses party-based mechanics with dice rolls inspired by D&D, creating tactical encounters with varied outcomes. The game supports multiple sexual pairings including male/female, female/male, male/male, and female/female encounters.

Various fetish content is integrated throughout, including demons, succubi, transformation, bondage, tentacles, witches, and others. The game features a built-in mod system allowing community content creation, and unwanted fetishes can typically be avoided by skipping scenes. Development is ongoing with plans for completion by summer.
