Cross Realms is a fantasy visual novel that emphasizes narrative depth and world-building alongside relationship mechanics. The story begins when you and a group of college friends are pulled through a mysterious vortex into a foreign world—a Qi cultivation realm where power is the ultimate currency. This world consists of nine distinct Realms, each governed by a dominant race including Humans, Demons, Deities, and Spiritual Beasts. Each Realm maintains a "spring" that channels Qi energy from the Void, creating fragile interdependencies that make lasting peace precarious. You arrive during an unprecedented era of peace, yet shadows hint at orchestrated machinations behind the scenes. As you explore this complex world, you uncover deeper secrets while confronting the reality that many dismiss you as powerless. The gameplay loop involves progressing through the narrative, discovering lore, and cultivating relationships with various characters. The game features a chapter selection system allowing players to skip previously completed content, and includes a reworked gallery system. Development is ongoing, with Chapter IV scheduled for public release in February 2026.
