Freshmen: Physical Education is an adult-oriented visual novel centered on the experiences of Connor Brandt, a freshman at the College for the 21st Century Arts who has just come out. Tasked with writing a semester-long assignment exploring his experiences with sex and sexuality, Connor must navigate the dating and hookup scene at his arts-focused campus for the first time. The game emphasizes player agency through a choice-based narrative system where decisions genuinely shape the story's direction, allowing players to pursue romance, casual encounters, or a mix of both. The game features ten romanceable main characters and six additional hookup characters, each with their own branching storylines and unique personalities. Beyond the core cast, the game includes numerous supporting characters to encounter throughout the college experience. A substantial gallery system unlocks high-quality cinematic artwork tied to story moments and hookup scenarios. Character customization allows players to define Connor's sexual preferences—top, bottom, versatile, or side—with most romance options offering similar flexibility. The game releases episodically as story sections and features are completed, with additional content available through the creator's Patreon, including exclusive artwork and an in-depth relationship guide.
