About

In this Japanese horror adventure, a boy named Saku is left behind in a rural village after his father's departure. While completing tasks for his grandfather and meeting a local girl, he encounters Hachishakusama, an eight-feet-tall supernatural being from urban legend who becomes drawn to him. From that moment forward, she is constantly by his side, creating an atmosphere of uncertainty—is it genuine affection or something far more sinister?

The gameplay focuses on exploration and survival within a peaceful countryside setting that transforms throughout the day with shifting scenery and ambient natural sounds. Players must hide from Hachishakusama, evade her advances, and use strategy to outsmart her during encounters. The experience blends heartwarming moments of everyday village life with genuine horror tension, creating a narrative that examines the ambiguous relationship between the boy and this mysterious entity as he navigates a summer with no clear escape.
