Keine's Expanding Class!

Keine's Expanding Class is a word puzzle fangame based on the classic Hangman game, featuring the character Keine Kamishirasawa as your teacher. The core gameplay involves guessing words one letter at a time while Keine presents hints about each word. You must identify the complete word before accumulating too many incorrect letter guesses, or the round ends. As you successfully complete words, Keine's pride in your progress increases, and the narrative suggests something unusual is happening alongside your progress.

The game offers extensive customization options, allowing players to select which Touhou games populate the word pool, incorporating character names, location names, and music titles alongside standard English vocabulary. This makes the experience accessible to both longtime Touhou fans and newcomers unfamiliar with the franchise. Four standard difficulty levels are available at the start, with six additional unlockable difficulties that expand the word pool with increasingly obscure terms. Higher difficulties introduce special mechanics that create escalating challenges.
