About

Missdelivered is a game jam prototype that puts you in the role of a demon girl employed by a delivery service. The core premise revolves around handling packages and completing deliveries as part of your job. The game was created during a game jam event, with development primarily occurring in the final days before the deadline. The developer used GameMaker Studio 2 for coding and pixel art tools including PyxelEdit and Aseprite for the visual assets, with music sourced from PANICPUMPKIN. As an early-stage prototype, the game explores a central concept with a deliberately minimal feature set. The developer acknowledges the game is in a bare-bones state and plans updates including a title screen, intro scene, level complete report, and additional dialogue. Despite time constraints typical of jam development, the project served as both a learning experience and an opportunity to experiment with game mechanics and design ideas.
