Path of Desire: Cursed Chakra

Path of Desire follows a protagonist named Boruto who acquires a strange ability that amplifies desire in those around him, stripping away their inhibitions. A chance encounter with a mysterious stranger sets off a chain of events where the narrative unfolds through pressure, consequences, and increasingly difficult moral choices rather than heroic actions.

Gameplay centers on branching narrative paths that lead to multiple endings based on your decisions. Characters have distinct personalities, limits, and inclinations that naturally develop depending on the situations you create and routes you pursue. Your choices shape relationships and outcomes, determining how far situations escalate with each character.

The game incorporates a turn-based RPG combat system to differentiate itself from typical visual novels, though players can opt to skip battles and focus purely on the story. The current build includes multiple character questlines with branching paths, core gameplay loops with repeatable activities, early main story progression, side character events, and animated scenes with replay systems.

Development focuses on establishing a solid foundation while gradually expanding character content, route depth, and player agency. The narrative explores themes of temptation, power, and the consequences of surrendering to suppressed desires.
