Pocket Campfire

Pocket Campfire is a Tamagotchi-inspired collection and interaction game built around cooking and befriending fantasy creatures. You take on the role of an experienced camper who gathers ingredients and prepares recipes to draw different creatures to your campsite. The core gameplay loop involves collecting berries through a minigame, cooking various dishes, and using them to attract new creatures and maintain relationships with existing ones.

As you interact with each creature, you unlock new dialogue, activities, and romantic encounters. The game features multiple creatures, each with male and female variants, and includes animated adult scenes. A contextual dialogue system responds to affection levels and creature energy states, creating dynamic interactions. The recent version 2.0 rebuild in GameMaker Studio 2 expanded the roster by one creature, added over 2000 new dialogue lines, implemented more elaborate interaction sequences, and overhauled the cooking system with additional recipes and effects. The game emphasizes bonding with creatures through conversation and intimate scenes, with the goal of achieving high affection levels.
