Roman's Christmas

Roman the wolf detective arrives at his favorite tavern for a quiet Christmas vacation, only to find himself investigating a series of mysterious murders. The game features five interconnected cases set in the fictional world of Apollion, where anthropomorphic animals coexist. Players must gather evidence, interview the thirteen travelers stranded by a storm, and piece together the truth behind each crime.

The investigation gameplay combines multiple mechanics to solve cases. Players can search rooms for clues, use Roman's special scent-tracking ability to identify suspicious elements, consult tarot cards for guidance on evidence, and complete a four-part case roulette involving motive, technique, weapon, and suspect. Timeline arrangement helps organize information, while a final comic-style climax reveals the complete truth of each murder.

Between investigations, players can engage in downtime activities like darts and card games at the tavern. The game emphasizes player choices that affect the narrative outcome, and offers time-rewind mechanics to encourage experimentation. Unraveling contradictions and presenting evidence against liars forms the core accusation mechanic.
