About

The Forbidden Frontier is a fantasy-themed web novel created with Twine that explores adult themes through interactive fiction. Players follow the protagonist Elios Leone as he establishes and develops a community dedicated to providing freedom and acceptance for individuals with various sexual interests and preferences. The narrative incorporates a diverse cast of characters across multiple fantasy races and sexual orientations. The game includes character sheet illustrations and cast artwork for each chapter, though the developer notes that future imagery additions are unlikely due to production constraints. The experience is text-heavy with limited visual accompaniment, designed to be played through a web browser. The story is presented across chapters with multiple branching paths and choices that shape the narrative progression.
