Players must strategically choose which battles to pursue on their path to facing the final boss.

The core loop involves defeating bosses and collecting randomized gifts that permanently upgrade the player's heart for the current run. With hundreds of gifts available, players have numerous ways to modify their character's abilities, though the exact rewards carry some randomness.
