VELVET FORGE

Velvet Forge is an early-stage creative sandbox designed for character and scene building on Android. Rather than progressing through developer-created content, the game emphasizes player agency in creating and customizing characters, constructing scenes with props and furniture, and designing interactions. Players can heavily customize character appearance using a library of blendshapes, position multiple characters in a scene, adjust objects with rotation and scaling, add lighting and environmental elements, and write conversations. The game features both an Edit Mode for construction and a Play Mode for testing creations. Scenarios can be saved locally and shared with other players via JSON export and import, establishing a foundation for a community-driven creation ecosystem. A procedural anatomical alignment system underpins the interaction mechanics, with one experimental adult interaction currently exposed as a proof of concept. The developer plans to focus on animation tools that simplify pose and motion creation without requiring manual bone and keyframe manipulation. The game is in very early alpha with a limited asset library, occasional bugs, and unfinished systems, but is being released early to gather feedback and see how players utilize the sandbox creatively.
