Victory Force: Forever War is a shoot-em-up game set in an unending conflict where victory is mathematically impossible. Players pilot a ship through waves of enemies, dealing damage to progressively power up their vessel during combat. Taking damage reduces progress toward the next power-up tier, creating a cycle of advancement and setback. The game emphasizes collection mechanics, rewarding players with kills that unlock higher-level power-ups and narrative content featuring the pilot character. Each stage runs approximately 2 to 3 minutes. The game supports both keyboard and controller input. Currently featuring one pilot across three stages, the developer has indicated plans to expand the roster. The web version requires Chrome due to technical limitations with SharedArrayBuffer support on itch.io. The downloadable version is recommended for the full experience, as the browser version contains non-functional exit buttons.
