Struggling through long work days and mistreatment from fellow servants and the young Lady Constance, Lorina discovers an unlikely connection with Taohua, a enigmatic maid whose unusual appearance and mysterious behavior have sparked rumors of witchcraft throughout the Shropshire countryside.
