About
Cabin Fever presents a narrative-focused experience set in an off-grid mountain retreat during a world marked by societal collapse. You inhabit this isolated space as a remote programmer, maintaining a quiet existence through gardening and animal husbandry until an injured stranger arrives during a storm. The core tension revolves around your character's choice to engage with this newcomer—weighing safety concerns against compassion and unexpected attraction.
The game emphasizes player agency through branching dialogue and decision points that shape your relationship trajectory. Multiple endings reward different playstyles and emotional approaches, encouraging replays to explore alternate outcomes. The story balances humor with genuine emotional moments, tracing the evolution from reluctant interaction to potential deeper connection.
Production values include hand-illustrated character art, environmental backgrounds, an original musical score, and full English voice acting with protagonist voice selection. Roughly three hours of content supports the branching narrative structure, offering sufficient variation to justify multiple playthroughs.
