Golden Hours

You inherit a struggling motel from your deceased uncle along with minimal funds and a cat with no affection to give. The Golden Hours Motel sits in the small town of Pinewood Hollow, where the neon sign is half-broken and the plumbing requires serious attention. A development corporation has been pressuring you to sell the land, but now you have one year to prove the motel is worth saving.

The gameplay centers on renovating and upgrading the motel from condemned status to profitability. You manage guest operations, handle various jobs for income, and navigate an economy system to keep the business afloat. Between renovation tasks, you explore the town through a free-roam sandbox with a full day and night cycle that drains your energy, requiring strategic time management.

Underlying the business simulation is a central mystery involving your uncle's past and connections to the corporate conspiracy threatening your motel. The game features fully animated adult scenes with original music and dialogue. A quirky secondary goal involves earning the approval of your indifferent cat, which the developer notes is surprisingly difficult compared to other objectives.
