About
Insect Prison REMAKE is a standalone point-and-click adventure that reimagines Atella's original CardWirth game, Mushi no Kangoku. You assume the role of Leah, an adventurer who accepts a request to locate a missing survey team on a recently discovered island. Upon arrival, you quickly discover that the island is inhabited by enormous alien creatures that are eager to interact with you in unexpected and intimate ways.
This remake modernizes the original experience by making it a standalone title that no longer requires CardWirth to run. It now features native support across Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android platforms. The visual presentation has been significantly improved, with the resolution doubled from the original 632x420 to 1264x840, and all character graphics have been upscaled accordingly. The interface has been carefully redesigned to maintain the spirit of the original while providing a sharper, smoother appearance on modern displays.
The remake includes various quality-of-life enhancements and improvements while preserving the core experience of the original. Its architecture supports multiple languages, making it more accessible to international players and translation communities.
