ISLAND

ISLAND follows Sanzenkai Setsuna, a young man who awakens on the shore of Urashima, a remote island in Japan, with no memory of his past. He befriends three girls—Rinne, Karen, and Sara—each connected to the island's influential Three Families. As Setsuna explores his relationships with these characters, he gradually uncovers the dark history and hidden mysteries surrounding Urashima.

The island itself is a paradox: outwardly idyllic with natural beauty, but burdened by a troubled past. A disease called soot blight syndrome has isolated it from the mainland, while rumors of children vanishing and an ancient legend of tragic love permeate local folklore. An abandoned offshore research platform stands as a testament to the island's former significance.

Using a flowchart navigation system, players chart multiple paths through the story, discovering clues and uncovering the truth behind Urashima's fate. Setsuna claims to have traveled back in time to challenge the island's traditions and alter its future. The narrative explores how his arrival transforms the lives of the three girls, the island's destiny, and potentially the fate of the world itself. The game features multiple routes and endings, rewarding careful exploration and different choices.
