Mahou Arms

Mahou Arms is a character-action hack and slash set in a world where humanity faces extinction from an mysterious invading force called the Locks. Players command GARDA, a global paramilitary organization that has discovered magical girls are the key to humanity's survival. The campaign follows a small group of these soldiers as they fight to reclaim Earth from the brink of annihilation.

Combat focuses on smooth, fluid character action with varied movesets and tactical positioning. Two distinct magical girls are playable, each with unique combat styles and abilities to master. Beyond the main campaign, the game offers side quests and diverse mini-games including cyberspace battles, drone racing, and rail shooting segments to break up the core action.

Progression involves leveling up characters and unlocking spells and skills through a skill tree system to increase combat effectiveness. Boss encounters present challenging, unique opponents throughout the campaign.
