NUKITASHI 2 continues the story following the events of the first game. After achieving peace on Seiran Island, protagonist Junnosuke Tachibana and his allies find themselves unexpectedly transported to a parallel world due to a data-related incident. In this new reality, they must adapt to unfamiliar circumstances while working alongside familiar faces and new characters from the FS organization.

The narrative unfolds through character-driven storytelling, featuring a diverse cast with distinct personalities and roles. Touka Reizeiin leads as a capable but clumsy strategist, while Rei Tadasugawa serves as a dependable supporter.
