Parasocial is a narrative-focused game created for the second toxic yuri game jam using the Godot engine. The story follows Christina, whose life takes an unexpected turn after a research expedition to a remote lake introduces supernatural elements. Her relationship with Blanche, a lifelong companion who has always been present, becomes increasingly complicated by mysterious forces. The game explores themes of dependency, obsession, and the darker aspects of intimate relationships. Players navigate the unfolding narrative as Christina's circumstances shift dramatically, with the game delving into the parasitic nature of codependency.
