Sex Survivors is a roguelite survivor game that emphasizes rapid decision-making and strategic build crafting. Players navigate candy-colored arenas filled with escalating enemy hordes, relying solely on movement as their manual attack input while automatic weapons handle the combat. The core gameplay loop revolves around collecting experience points to level up, selecting from a variety of weapons and passive items, and discovering weapon evolutions by combining specific item combinations. Each of the five playable survivors has a distinct signature weapon, passive ability, and ultimate power, fundamentally changing how runs feel mechanically rather than just adjusting numerical stats. Players can command feral cats, unleash waves of rockets, convert missing health into shadow damage, or unleash relentless melee strikes depending on their chosen character. The game offers three stages with wave-based enemy progression, 15-minute standard runs followed by optional endless modes, a growing arsenal of automatic weapons and build-altering charms, elite enemies, bosses, and cosmetic costume options. Permanent progression upgrades carry between runs, and a codex records discovered content for collection purposes.
