Stained Lace is a brief kinetic novel that follows a maid seeking escape from her difficult past through employment at an unusual manor. The narrative explores how a single opportunity can reshape one's trajectory and sense of self. The game examines interconnected themes of survival, personal agency, and romantic connection between women. Created for the Toxic Yuri Jam 2, the work prioritizes character-driven storytelling over player choice, presenting a linear narrative path. The current version features sketch artwork, with plans for full-color illustrations in future updates. The game is designed for a mature audience and contains explicit sexual content alongside its character-focused narrative.
