You find yourself kidnapped in the mysterious Black Woods near your small hometown of Sacramen-Cho, where a cult worships an eldritch entity known as Rhok'zan, the Black Goat of the Woods. Your only clue to escape lies within the cultists' strange purple spellbook, which contains passages describing how to summon this cosmic horror. While the rest of the town appears entranced by Rhok'zan's overwhelming aura of love and devotion, you alone seem immune to its effects. The game unfolds across four chapters as you navigate dangerous rituals and fanatic cultists, making choices that determine your ultimate fate. Along the way, you have the opportunity to develop a romantic relationship with Rhok'zan itself, a new dateable character in the visual novel format. The experience draws inspiration from classic Lovecraftian tales such as "The Dunwich Horror" and "The Shadow over Innsmouth," reinterpreting the typically dark and dreadful atmosphere through the lens of romantic comedy. The game features hand-drawn 2D environments presented in 360-degree perspectives with a nostalgic art direction evoking vintage anime and classic dating simulators from decades past.
