About

Sucker for Love is a visual novel that blends romance with cosmic horror themes. You take on the role of someone attempting to win the affection of an eldritch being using a mysterious pink grimoire, performing dangerous rituals and incantations to impress your otherworldly date. The core gameplay loop involves managing your character's sanity as you navigate the relationship—balancing romantic gestures with the psychological toll of the horrors you inadvertently unleash. The game plays with the tension between emotional desire and rational fear, asking whether love is worth the risk of descending into madness. You must keep your possessive eldritch partner satisfied while protecting your mind from spiraling into oblivion. The game embraces a darkly comedic tone, treating intimate moments and existential dread with equal weight. Originally created as an exclusive for the Dread X Collection 2, this prelude serves as an introduction to the series before the upcoming fuller sequel.
