About

The Lar is a narrative-focused RPG Maker experience that takes roughly three hours to complete. You take on the role of an experiment attempting to escape alongside other test subjects from a mysterious location. The gameplay revolves around exploration and interaction with various characters you encounter, building trust and friendships that influence which story path you follow. Your decisions and attention to detail directly impact the route progression, potentially unlocking additional narrative branches. The game features environmental puzzles scattered throughout scenes that can reveal deeper storylines when solved. Multiple endings exist based on the choices made throughout your playthrough and relationships formed with fellow experiments. The experience emphasizes story discovery and character interaction as core mechanical elements.
