Get In The Car, Loser!

Get In The Car, Loser! is a road trip RPG following Sam Anon, a goth protagonist reluctantly recruited by Grace Morningstar to prevent cultists from summoning the Machine Devil. Alongside Grace, her boyfriend Valentin, and Angela—a renegade angel—Sam embarks on a summer mission to seal away an ancient evil for another thousand years while stopping at diners and navigating romantic tension.

The game blends visual novel-inspired dialogue and choice-making with an active time battle system influenced by classic and modern JRPGs. Combat emphasizes tactical positioning and leveraging each party member's complementary abilities to maintain momentum. The equipment-based progression system allows dynamic character customization, with items providing different abilities depending on which character equips them, enabling mid-battle strategy adjustments.

The narrative explores themes of fighting for justice against institutional indifference while characters discover themselves through their journey together. The soundtrack by Christa Lee features genre-defying pop music designed for battle sequences.
