Unclean Water

Unclean Water casts you as Don Berin Dealwit, a fugitive forced into the labyrinthine sewers beneath the Marlen Trade District after being hunted down by pursuers. The depths are inhabited by Nireph, a water elemental wielding poison, and the dangerous assassin collective Night Moss. Your goal is to navigate this maze and reach the surface alive.

The gameplay centers on first-person melee combat requiring precision timing and situational awareness. You exploit enemy openings through well-timed strikes, crushing attacks, defensive blocks, and shield bashes. Success depends on reading opponent patterns and responding with appropriate counters rather than raw damage output.

Progression combines roguelike elements with permanent growth mechanics. Each run grants resources to purchase and upgrade gear at shops, with equipment featuring randomized modifiers that encourage adapting your strategy to each run's unique build opportunities. Defeats contribute to permanent character enhancements, allowing you to progressively grow stronger and penetrate deeper into the sewer's challenges.
