Yokai Art 2: Tales of the Nine-Tails

Yokai Art 2 continues the story following Hiro's victory over Fujin and Raijin. When Sanbi senses a mysterious summons from her true form—the nine-tailed fox—Hiro and his allies embark on a new adventure to the Land of Dragons to uncover the truth behind this call.

The game employs hex-based map navigation with diverse floor layouts where players encounter various node types including battles, treasure chests, and story events. Each run allows players to strengthen their units and unlock permanent upgrades to Hiro's abilities, encouraging repeated playthroughs and progression.

Combat takes place on a chessboard-inspired battlefield where tactical unit placement is crucial for defending against waves of mythical enemies and powerful bosses. Players collect god's boons and relics to enhance team power, and can evolve units using Powerstones to unlock their ultimate forms and devastating skill attacks.

The world draws inspiration from both Chinese folklore and Japanese yokai mythology, featuring a diverse cast of legendary creatures from both traditions, each with unique combat abilities and behaviors.
