Blazing Sunset

Blazing Sunset is an adult sandbox visual novel set on Blaze Island, where you return after 15 years to finish high school. The island was once terrorized by the infamous Sunset Slasher, whose murders of men caused most of the male population to flee. Now, with the island heavily populated by women who haven't seen a man in over a decade, you find yourself the focus of considerable attention.

The gameplay combines life simulation with exploration and mystery elements. You manage daily activities through a day/night/week cycle that includes school attendance, island exploration, and social interaction with over 40 characters. The experience is shaped by your choices, which tailor relationships and story outcomes to your preferences.

Beyond romance and dating mechanics, the game features a crime-solving element where you investigate crime scenes related to a potential return of the Sunset Slasher. The island offers numerous side activities and locations to discover. An in-game hint system guides progression so you always know where to pursue next. The developer emphasizes hand-crafted content with no AI generation involved. Current public release is version 0.1 with 10-15 hours of content, with active ongoing development. The game is free to play, with optional Patreon support for early access and exclusive rewards.
