Rusty Seas is an action-focused game inspired by 16-bit console and 90s computer gaming aesthetics, blended with modern design sensibilities. Players take on the role of Mirig, a diner waitress whose day off becomes an unexpected opportunity when she receives an offer to collect high-tech salvage from the beaches of Northshore. The gameplay centers on direct competition, as Mirig must contend with a colorful roster of rival characters also seeking to claim the washed-up treasures. Combat and confrontation form the core loop, with players dunking adversaries and engaging in action-based encounters. Beyond combat, the game incorporates progression through purchasing outfits and items, as well as relationship-building mechanics that unlock narrative content.
