Stella of The End

In a world overtaken by giant machines that have nearly wiped out humanity, a wandering courier named Jude Gray is hired to transport unusual cargo: Philia, an android girl with a unique immunity to the enigmatic Singularity Machines. Reluctantly paired together, Jude must guide Philia across treacherous wilderness filled with mechanical threats and human dangers while she learns about the world around her. Philia harbors a singular dream of becoming human, believing this transformation holds the key to saving humanity itself. The narrative unfolds as Jude—a pragmatic survivor focused on protection and gear maintenance—gradually bonds with Philia, whose innocent curiosity and instinctive understanding of AI create an unexpected partnership. Along their journey, they encounter other characters including Willem Grosvenor, a mysterious nobleman with advanced technology who orchestrated the delivery, and Delilah, another android searching for her creator. The story explores themes of what it means to be human, survival in a hostile world, and whether redemption is still possible for a species on the brink of extinction.
