The Northern Passage

The Northern Passage is a work-in-progress horror fantasy choose-your-own-adventure game where you take on the role of a Hunter sent to investigate a series of disappearances along the northern border and in the port cities of Blackwater. Partnered with your Watcher, Lea Chen, you journey into increasingly dangerous territory and discover that the situation is far grimmer than initially suspected, with something sinister lurking in the depths of the sea.

The game emphasizes character-driven storytelling, with meaningful relationships forming between you and four main characters: Lea the alchemist, Clementine the bard, Captain Merry Harlowe, and Noel Lykaon the healer. You can develop romance with any of them as your story unfolds. The experience features extensive character customization, allowing you to define your Hunter's name, appearance, gender, pronouns, weapon preference, and even your horse's name. Your choices throughout the narrative significantly impact the story's direction and character relationships, particularly with your Watcher, family, and mentor.

Currently, only Chapter 1 is available in the demo, with the game in active development and planned for future updates.
