Art of Ism

Art of Ism presents a narrative-focused experience centered on Ashley, the new student in town, as she attempts to build friendships with her isolated classmates despite their vastly different personalities. The game weaves together multiple perspectives—Ashley's attempts at bonding, Brian's viewpoint as another main character, the headmaster's investigation into a previous administrator's disappearance, and an enigmatic fourth perspective revealing background machinations—to construct a layered mystery spanning both the school and broader town.

Gameplay revolves around several mini-games that drive the narrative forward. Bondings allow Ashley to engage classmates in conversations about various topics, with outcomes that strengthen, weaken, or leave relationships unchanged. Confrontations function as argument-based encounters where characters overcome obstacles using their own approaches. Deductions employ a hangman-style mechanic to piece together answers, while Spot Selection involves clicking environment details to unlock hidden dialogue and collect logos.

The experience spans ten chapters from prologue to epilogue, featuring four distinct endings—three bad ends and one true ending determined by relationship status with key characters. Additional content includes galleries for backgrounds, CGs, music, and character sprites.
