About
Set against the backdrop of 1996 Hong Kong, this visual novel examines fundamental questions about morality and personal responsibility in a world without clear right answers. The narrative explores three distinct philosophical perspectives: the pragmatist who seizes power wherever possible, the nihilist who avoids responsibility through inaction, and the privileged individual who imposes help regardless of consent. The game unfolds through a story of approximately 12,000 words with two different endings, allowing players to experience multiple narrative branches. Beyond the main story, the game includes three minigames styled with nostalgic Windows 95-inspired interfaces, adding a playful counterpoint to the serious themes. A gallery system unlocks explicit CGs as players progress through the narrative, providing additional visual content. The experience examines deviance, nonsexual sadomasochism, class struggle, societal definitions of evil, and what agency truly means when all available choices carry moral weight.
