KARAKARA

KARAKARA is a narrative-focused visual novel set during the "Age of Dusk," a period of human decline where hybrid beings called "Others" have become commonplace. The story follows two individuals who operate a modest roadside diner in an arid, sparsely populated landscape, eking out a living through daily deliveries and service to sparse customers. Their routine existence is disrupted when they discover an unconscious girl with pink hair abandoned beside a suitcase on their way home. The game explores themes of isolation, companionship, and finding purpose in a world fundamentally transformed and emptied of vitality. Through character-driven storytelling, the narrative examines how individuals forge meaningful connections and fill existential voids despite the bleakness of their circumstances. The atmosphere is contemplative and atmospheric, with a focus on dialogue and character development rather than action or gameplay mechanics.
